Return to: City Bench
What was destined to become garden mulch is now a stunning — and sustainable — addition to the Yale Farm.
City Bench, a new woodworking company in Higganum, donated two outdoor picnic tables with accompanying benches to the farm on Edwards Street in New Haven. The red oak used to fashion the tables was sourced a stone's throw from the farm itself, explained Ted and Zeb Esselstyn, the two brothers who founded City Bench a few months ago.
