Farm Stay U.S.'s searchable website has listings in all 50 states and is growing every day.

For farmers, Farm Stay U.S. offers the tools, resources and community to start or grow farm stay offerings alongside working operations. For urbanites, it offers the opportunity to access a memorable and wonderful guest experience, and to support healthier food and farm systems.

The organization’s mission is to help restore our lost connections to the land and America's family farm heritage; to support the farmers who are growing healthy food in sustainable ways; to make farm vacations or “farm stays” as available and as popular in the United States as they are in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Scottie Jones who operates Leaping Lamb Farm with her husband Greg in Alsea, Oregon, launched FarmStayUS.com in June 2010. There, the duo has hosted urban visitors for the last five years, directly supplementing their farm income. They also have seen how visitors are enlivened by the farm stay experience, often returning to their lives with a greater appreciation for farming and a greater likelihood of supporting local food and farms through their everyday purchases.
