Forest Business Network (FBN) is a Missoula, Montana based company led by Craig Rawlings, one of the nation's leading experts on small-diameter and underutilized timber and woody biomass, and business creation and growth strategies within the forest products industry. 

FBN engages in four activities:

1. A forest business consultancy that, through the BitterRoot Economic Development District's Forest Business Technical Assistance Project, helps forest business owners develop products from small-diameter timber, creates business and marketing plans, matches projects with grants, provides hands-on management assistance, and aids in project management.

2. Producer of an international industry event called the Small Log Conference, which is held every two years in Couer d'Alene, Idaho.

3. Publishes a highly regarded and trafficked website at www.ForestBusinessNetwork.com

4. Publishes an email newsletter read by close to 10,000 subscribers that comprise a who's who of the forest products industry.
