Partn-06~Green Chamber of Commerce

The Green Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2007 in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a national, membership-based organization that is dedicated to fostering the success of businesses committed to environmental and social responsibility. Through a growing network of regional Green Chambers, the Green Chamber of Commerce brings together green businesses within their communities, and promotes the mutual success of those businesses by:

  • Promoting a national standard that defines what it means to be a green business.
  • Verifying that members meet that standard.
  • Linking member businesses with other like-minded businesses and consumers in their communities.
  • Advocating for public policy that supports green businesses.

We believe it is critical for progressive firms to join together to help each other succeed, and to lobby for legislation and public policy that will stimulate and support the development of the green business movement in the U.S.
